I like shooting sunsets. Period. However, winter is not (at least not to me) the prime season for sunset photography. I guess it is the misalignment between the expected warm feeling of the sunset and the coldness and snow (yeah, I'm referring to Swedish winters) - the inspiration is quickly lost. However, winter sunsets can be beautiful and this week's photo is an example of that. It was shot last week in Lofsdalen, Sweden. It was cold and a bit windy, and when I was finished shooting (ca 10 minutes) my fingers were numb and I was shivering. I quickly skied back to the cabin we were staying in and jumped into the sauna to defrost.
